They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. Thermoseal team responded quickly to my initial request and when on site talked me through the options. We had a complete roof replacement, which was the best decision as further deterioration was found in the roof timbers which needed additional work. The team were able to adjust their plan to accommodate the additional repairs. The slates, woodwork and a valley were all replaced. They also tidied up the existing chimney stacks and redid the lead work. I would recommend them of any work.

I contracted the team for a bathroom refurbishment. Over the seven days they worked, they were always on time and worked solidly to get the job done. When I say ‘solidly’, they worked really hard. Communication was brilliant (replies to messages within a short time) and Andrew, the owner, was extremely helpful. Ended up with a low stress, excellent refurb all done in a timely manner. I have been a builder for over 30 years. We have moved from large site work building houses in and around the reading area, Mostly all the brickwork. For the past 15 years we are been concentrating only on residential extensions offering a complete service from ?foundation and drainage to finish flooring. Including all plumbing, electrics, windows carpentry and roofing.all works are signed of and inspected by building control and carry a 10 year structural warranty. Swear We do not add extra cost unless extra work is added as we progress after full consultation before continuing. ?We will have lots of meetings to discuss interior fixtures and finish before quoting to eliminate cost rises.
Cannot recommended Mick and Trevor enough. Right from the discussion stage Mick explained how the building work would be done, the phases, building control and what to expect. Communication was there. There were no surprises along the way, no hidden extras. This is the first time we’ve had work done on this scale and we trust this company. We have since recommended them to friends and anyone who asks! We’re having them back for future (smaller) job!
