Jake and his team prepared and plastered our lounge, hall and guest bedroom and did an excellent job. Update on the works that Beau & Co completed. We have had 2No. of the 4No. walls of Beau's work condemed as 'not fit for purpose' by our tiler. We have had to remove the dabs and drylining and re-line the walls. The undercoat bonding that was used was not suitable for plasterboard and did not bond to the boards properly. It is accepted that 'a half bag' of bonding was left for Beau to use. However, we were not advised by Beau that the bonding was not suitable for plasterboard, it was purchased for a brick/ clinker block wall. Additional bonding was provided by Beau. The removal of the plasterboard highlighted that the boards were not affixed correctly to the walls, the number and size of 'dabs' was not as per manufacturers recommendations. Because the dabs were inadequate the removal was easier than expected. Please note that if you are to tile on to plasterboard, do not use a bonding undercoat for cement based adhesives.

Rob and his team did a really high quality job and we are very pleased with the end result (and I am the son of a builder, so my expectations were high to start with).. The finish is excellent on the render and the quality is constant through what was a fairly large rendering job on my detached house. Hired Ian to Build a single story extension and install new kitchen and downstairs shower room . Crew were very pleasant and very helpful in planning the the job ahead of them. Very pleased with the work carried out looks amazing Having to put up with an awkward neighbor didn't deter them from doing and completing the job. The price put in was very reasonable. When the work was ongoing the area was always left clean and as tidy as possible . I would recommend Ian 100% , and would use him again.

STAY well away from this company. Quoted to fit stair carpet and stair rods. Arrived late and Ryan started to cut the stair rods. Ryan stayed for 3 hours then just walked out with no warning and never came back. I then found out that he cut 8 of the stair rods incorrectly. I advised him of this and he said he would replace. After not responding to my texts I can assume he is not replacing them which has now left me £88.00 out of pocket to replace. Be warned .
I have grown up on a construction site and have always had a good hand in lead ever since I was 4 years old. I had worked with my father doing plumbing and by the time I was 13 years old I was a part time partner in his company, I further went to college and qualified in level 2 NVQ Plumbing and had carried a full-term apprenticeship, creating a portfolio. Once finishing my qualifications I became a full time partner in my father’s general building company which entailed doing, extensions, refurbs, plumbing and heating, kitchen & bathroom refurbishments, new builds, roofing and lead work. We ran the company together for a further 8 years on top of his 45 years of quality construction. Afterwards I have done my own jobs and have now recently created my own company B.J.T Construction, named after my 3 young boys a business that shows we are built upon family, integrity, quality and professional standards.
