The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!

Cannot praise their work ethic enough, polite, pleasant and courteous. Although the font was large they managed to break it up and take away all the remains. Disgusted with most of the proceedings! It started with a single tile that had slipped down at the ridge, the remedy was a new batten to be fitted for all of this level of tiles, they said. A boxed ridge seal was fitted the price stayed the same., exorbitant! The roof porch needed tile alignment on one side, this was done in a very short time as was the first job. They asked me if I wanted my front wall pointing after what they told me they would do,I agreed. Mortar was scarce and the old was not removed.
