We recently had our subfloor replaced and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The carpenter was friendly, professional, and clearly very skilled. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure the work was carried out to a high standard. The new subfloor is solid, level, and has made a huge difference to the room. It's great to find a tradesperson who is reliable, turns up when they say they will, and takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend him!!

Tom came around to quote exactly when he said he would. Provided a very competitive price for the work. The work was completed when he said he would (despite the horrendous weather) and he also provided videos of before and after work so I could see exactly what had been carried out. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.
Very quick response and started work the next day. Reliable and hard working. Seem to have done a good job on the roof which was leaking - only time will tell. Stayed late to finish off plastering inside the house, which was a great help as we didn't need to find a second tradesman to do this. Altogether I would certainly recommend Star Roofing.

I initially left a 5-star review because the job seemed well done. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The replacement lock stopped working within two days and had to be repaired again. The inner safety glass panel also shattered two days after the work. I can't say what caused the glass to break, as nobody touched it after he left, but the timing is very concerning. I started with a faulty lock and ended up with a shattered glass panel.
