Hello all, my name is Steve and i am a time served electrician of over 40 years experience. My son Edward has trained as a plasterer. My partner Sara, a very accomplished designer and painter and decorator. I have worked for the electricity board for many years, and have industrial and home electrical installation experience. Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course and with myself being self trained and helping I am trying also to build up his business profile also We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. I am happy to do emergency or weekend work. I also worked as a kitchen/bathroom fitter for John Lewis for a number of years and therefore am very conscientious of quallity of work expected from high end clients. This is a 5 star review. I had a very big 25 meter squared ceiling to plaster. The job was finished to a fantastic standard and was left clean and tidy once completed. I can highly recommend Newman plastering and will be using them again for any future plastering jobs.

A bit about myself names pj from tipperary Ireland, in uk several years now with 20 years experience of qualified carpenter, builder, and plastering I hold a certified for level 6 master craftsmanship for carpentry. and a British gymism for plastering. ive two gold cscs cards and several certificates such as working at heights, harness trained ect. I'm also an incident controller trained to manage small to major accidents. I believe everyone has a calling and mines been in residential and commercial construction from small to big projects and everything in between and soon will help with yours. I take great pride in my work and dont see it as a job but more like living my best life. I've done my travelling overseas been to Australia and Canada for several big companies. I didnt like it I didnt like just been another number a link in the chain. "I want to break free" I've been a working site supervisor carpenter joiner in the uk now for 7 yrs. Fantastic service from Cristian - was quick to respond to the initial request, I sent him some photos and he quoted straight away, and then was here 3 days from making the request. Extremely pleasant guy who clearly knew what he was doing and from start to finish I couldn't be happier. He also fitted a chimmney cowl that I had whilst up on the roof as part of his original quote. If you want someone to do a great job, will leave the place spotless and DON'T want a dodgey roofer then he's your man.
I apologise for not having posted a rating before now. I thought I had already done so. Our loft conversion has transformed how we live.The cost was fair. The work was carried out to a good standard, quickly and tidily with minimum disruption. We are happy with the result. The "Boys" were friendly and easy to have about and full of good advice. I would use Roy again and have already recommended to others.

I was a site manager for 10yrs now semi retired and doing customer care maintenance. I am knowledgeable in all areas of building works. I now re trained and now offer Venetian Plastering and looking at only offering this service.
George Bancroft and his team-mate Jimmy did an excellent job. Installed new gate-posts and re-hung heavy driveway gates. Gates now hang much better and close-up together better than they have for years. George and Jimmy worked hard and with good will, the price was right, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
