We hired Cani Building Services to replace the front stairs and pathway of our Victorian home with granite pavers in the spring of 2025. Fired him for appalling work, no-shows and delays; see his other bad reviews. He's a middle man; does not do any work; got others to do it like a plumber, then a tiler the next day; slow work made worse when someone messed up or did not show up. Ali only shows to deliver materials or check work. Quick to reply when wanting the job. Slow/no response once job starts thinking you wont cancel. Materials I paid not returned; take every receipt and check you keep/use every item as he will even for wipes/tape

AVOID ! At all cost, honestly getting flooring done is so expensive and this company came ruined my new purchase herringbone flooring by laying it completely wrong! They don’t know what they are doing and have no skill. They are messy dust everywhere my walls sofa cushions, curtains everything is a mess. I stopped them and told them not to come back after paying an initial £600 wish I never paid anything now going to open a dispute. Awful is me being nice avoid these people!

I was badly disappointed with the work, discussed this with Petru, sent him photos, he was still adamant he had done excellent work. I had to engage another contractor, who I had to pay not only to do the work, but to undo the poor outcome of Petru's work. I hired Petru based on his excellent feedback, and considered asking him to do more work in my home; I regret that decision, and will not hire contractors via websites like this any time again.

Victor was very quick, helpful, polite and understanding. He communicated well providing regular updates. Removal and replacement of Stairs was done in less than a day. Everything was cleaned and tidied up before leaving. Extremely efficient. Can recommend and would engage again.
