I have been trading as MJ Griifiths for nearly 30 years now . My father was a gas engineer and I initially trained with him and got my City & Guilds qualifications. I branched into building a few years later in a partnership with a school friend who was a carpenter. Together we estabalished a Building , plumbing and heating company covering all aspects of the trade. The partnership no longer exists but M J Griffiths does ! Its fair to say that I am a very experienced all rounder who specalises in Heating and plumbing, all gas work and servicing , bathroom installations etc . We mainly only carry out associated building works now a days to go along with say a bathroom installation where we would do studwork, boarding , skimming , carpentry, tiling etc. My company does not have to use other trades for things like this enabling us to keep costs down with no delays waiting for other trades. My son James has qualified as a gas engineer 6 years ago and has worked with me for 10 years. Now we have on board my youngest son Max as an apprentice , studying at Trowbridge college on day release. We install Worcester boilers if possible and are due to be Worcester acredited this autumn . We also install other makes of boilers if the budget requires. We also specalize in design , supply and installation of bathrooms. We take the strain , not our customers !
Mark did a great job fitting our new gas boiler. He was reliable and worked hard to get the job done on time. Mark was professional and accomodating throughout and his building skills came in very handy in making good following the removal of our old boiler, meaning that we didn't have to find a seperate builder to do that side of things. Ben’s journey in construction started at an early age. He grew up on construction sites alongside his father, who had a long-standing background in construction and worked directly on government projects. This gave Ben an early understanding of construction that came from being around real projects, real trades and the realities of building. He later studied Architecture, developing a deeper understanding of design, structure and how buildings come together. During this time, his passion for timber and craftsmanship became particularly strong. He discovered that what interested him most was not only designing buildings, but actually creating them. Before establishing NOAH Construction, Ben also gained experience working for leading construction companies, where he was exposed to projects worth millions of pounds and was involved in works with values reaching approximately £10 million. This experience gave him an understanding of the organisation, standards and responsibility required on larger construction projects. NOAH Construction was then established as a way to build something of his own. In just three years, the company has progressed from delivering smaller projects to successfully undertaking works ranging from approximately £50,000 to £1 million in value. Today, Ben combines three important parts of his background: hands-on construction experience from an early age, architectural education, and experience working within larger-scale construction environments. His particular passion remains timber and craftsmanship, but his approach to construction goes beyond one material or trade. Had some work on our roof completed in May 2024. This was completed to a poor standard, which we only realised after problems. Michael did return to supposedly correct these issues. However, we still have a leak and parts of the flat roof are flaking off only a few months afterwards. Have tried numerous times to contact Michael with limited success. He is now completely avoiding contact either by phone or email and has failed to return and rectify the problems. Would not recommend or use again.

Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

I would give the lowest score possible to these sharks! Came at 2.30 on a Friday and worked on roof in dark and rain! Left job in a terrible state both internally and externally .Promised to come back next morning and rectify and plaster all the mess they made on the walls snd ceiling.Yhey have not answered any communications despite trying several times. In good faith I paid them half the money but will never see them again so I have to now find a reputable roofer to fix. BEWARE they are SCUM.
