The quote was better than expected. The builders were very clean and tidy each day. The work was completed despite the weather conditions not being perfect. The finished walls were to a high standard when compared to other nearby residential properties that have been recently pointed. I would recommend this company to anyone asking for a similar job request. My neighbours have asked for contact details of the builder after seeing the work completed.

GLS did some work on our cottage, including renovating a staircase, fitting skirting boards and door frames, hanging doors and installing a built-in wardrobe. This work was quite complicated due to the age and “character” of the cottage (no straight lines!), plus working in a busy family home. They did an absolutely fantastic job. John came out & had a look at the job & we agreed a price. I showed him the access & he said there were no problems with getting a grinder in. On the day, he sent someone else who felled the tree but left the stump. I let him know that the agreement was to grind the stump and he advised that his grinder could not do the job. I paid up because John seemed okay & I thought I could sort it out with him later. At first, it seemed likely, but he has since stopped answering. I wouldn't recommend JTS to anyone,

Jeff rang about my job within 30 minutes of submission. We sent him digital photographs of the site via the internet and he gave a reasonable quote which he stuck to. He was able to come to our house to do the job within 2 days. He did the whole job in one morning. Jeff was very professional and courteous. The retaining wall is exactly what we wanted. I've never seen or used this "Rated People" but I will definitely use it again. I would thoroughly recommend Jeff.

I'd highly recommend John. He managed our expectations well from the start - turned up on time to quote, delivered a quote the next day as promised, provided references when we asked for them (who backed up that he's a good builder), found a space in his schedule quickly to fit our job in, did it quickly, efficiently and leaving no mess afterwards. And charged us a reasonable amount for the work. Couldn't speak more highly of him, and will definitely ask him to quote on our extension when we progress with the planning.
