We were held up a few days by the weather initially, but once things were underway I was very happy with how things progressed. I had a good, written quotation, to which they kept and which was not at all unreasonable. I have 34 years experience in property maintenance, specialising in plastering, brickwork repairs, roof repairs, fencing.
The stud wall put in is very uneven having a big bump from ceiling to floor where two walls meet the stud. They did both walls so it’s totally their fault. I would say Bryan is an okay plasterer but it was an absolute mess and very sloppy. i now have had other plasterers So know what it’s supposed to look like. I had never had a wall plastered before. He refused to give me an invoice. He asked me to pay into his wife’s account. It was all very bizzarr. I would not recommend & would say be wary.
This is an effective, no-frills, reasonably priced outfit. They replaced my house extension 4mx4m flat roof with a new felt flat roof. I was impressed by the speed of response to my job posting, with a site visit on the same day and the work done a few days later in one day. The workmen were skilled and diligent and produced a good-looking product, clearing up afterwards. I paid the original price quoted, with no additional surprise items. No problems have arisen in the week since, despite storms.
