The two guys responded quickly to my request. Turned up when they said they would. They were very friendly and did an excellent job of rehanging a period door that had come away from the door frame that need cutting out and replacing sections of timber - all at a very reasonable price. I want to express my disappointment with Charles from JnC Groundworks. I had written the review with the promise that he would return the following Monday to remove all leftover materials (which was part of the contract). This did not happen. Someone arrived over 2 months later to clear the leftovers but still left 2 pallets on my front lawn! This pitiful attempt to clear the leftovers only happened after many emails and phone calls, which he tried to ignore! DON'T pay until the job is FULLY completed!!

On Saturday 14/10/17 Ian Oliver A1 Flooring carried out work he'd quoted on against a job spec submitted on Rated People. He denied ever talking about lifting and removing the existing flooring (clearly stated on spec) and wanted another £250.00 to complete the job, obviously I did not agree to this. I was at work and unable to dispute this in person however I have since tried to contact Ian but he fails to take my calls. His work is amateurish, and unfinished. Seriously think twice before using A1 Flooring

BMD completed the job a head of time and within budget. The trades men were all good they respected our home and always cleaned up after themselves. Could not say a bad word about them (even the singing brickies). I am so glad I got these alterations done I got the right builder for the job.

Big gaps in flooring now. His colleague left kitchen skirting uneven and broken. Avoiding calls to repair even after repeated contacts. Will not recommend because he failed to deliver quality finish.
