I am a self employed Carpenter and Joiner and specialise in fitting kitchens, bespoke/built-in furniture and storage solutions and laying wooden flooring. I also work with a small team on larger projects, consisting of me, a fully qualified plumber, a fully qualified electrician, a plasterer and tiler and a decorator. As a team we fit Bathrooms, Large Kitchens, and undertake Full House Renovations. Although I am a relatively young carpenter, I am not inexperienced and have been doing this sort of work for over 8 years, and definitely feel I have something to prove when it comes to my trade knowledge and quality of workmanship. I was happy and paid as this plumber said he was coming back to fit some caps later in the week. Since, I have noticed the tap has been plumbed incorrectly hot to cold and vice versa, he did not return with the caps. I think he was just lying that what he wanted to fit was better because he forgot to put them on when fitting the shower and my sink isn’t attached to the wall securely. I have given him a couple of months now to put it right but he ignores my calls and texts.

Sadly as much as the extension looks fine on the outside, there have been too many issues behind the scenes that we have had to get remedied, which has been a huge additional ongoing cost to us. The team are not experts and will not do a thorough job. We have recently had to deal with a big health and safety electrical issue due to their inability to do things properly. We now wish we that we had engaged someone else.

Solomon replied to my ad very quickly which was great and he managed to get the heating working in my flat, which it hadn't been. However, the fault light on my boiler came back on shortly after he left and he hasn't been able to provide a report on what issue needs fixing for me to be able to follow up on. He also wouldn't pre confirm an hourly rate or agree costs upfront. He was however very friendly and helpful, if he can provide a report and rectify the issue then I'd happily use him again.

Fatjon / Tony and team did a fantastic job decorating my house, getting rid of damp and giving my front garden a completely new look. They re built wonky walls, rendered them and laid some amazing tiles giving an original Victorian look. Communication was excellent and there were no surprise / hidden costs at the end. All the guys at Bardhi construction were super friendly and extremely respectful of my house. They cleaned up every night and took great care of my property. I highly recommend :)
