Make sure to ask your driveway installer what licences and insurance they have before you hire them. All removal companies that use lorries need to have drivers who have a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) that qualifies them to drive large vehicles.
Lorries or vans that carry over 3,500kg require a goods vehicle operators’ licence, so make sure you ask if you’re planning on moving a lot of items.
