We had Calum out to do e previously botched pointing job. The end results is fantastic. These guys worked away no hassle at all and even managed to squeeze in another small job they discovered. Very punctual and professional and no messing about. Highly recommend and would definitely hire them again if I needed a builder.

The job was a complete en-suite shower room renovation. The existing fixtures and fittings were removed and a complete new suite installed. This requires alterations to one of the walls to increase the size of the room, and plasterwork in the en-suite and adjoining room. The wall and floor were completely tiled and new lighting, shower, basin and WC were fitted. The reason that Wayne got the job was that he appeared very professional from the outset. He arrived right on time, was knowledgeable, willing to provide ideas and provided a detailed written quote and work schedule. He allowed me the option of choosing my own materials, which he would then purchase for me to save me any hassle. He dealt with the suppliers and took delivery of the goods. One other confidence booster is the fact that he didn't take a penny until the job was complete and I was completely satisfied. Once the job began, minor changes to the specification weren't a problem. Wayne accepted changes, and provided verbal cost updates if the change had a cost impact. I would have to say that he is more than fair in terms of the additional cost of his labour and didn't take a mark-up on materials. Throughout the job he was very punctual, and his work ethic was exceptional. He obviously takes great pride in what he does, and it shows in the finished product. I would certainly recommend Wayne.

We had Steven come to see us to give us ideas for our garden & found him to be very honest in the way he explained what he thought our job would involve . Unfortunately we had to cancel our project for the time being so did not have a chance to see our project completed by Steven . As i say very pleasant bloke who will tell you truthfully what you might need done .

Keith did a fantastic job for us; he has a fine eye for detail and we’re delighted with the finished results. Despite the job being more complicated than originally thought, Keith took it all in his stride and didn’t charge us any more than his initial quote. Very professional and genuine man.

I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.

The job was delayed due to poor weather conditions but Graham worked with us to rearrange the date and kept us well informed of when work would take place. The work undertaken was of a high quality for an excellent price. We are really pleased and would employ Graham again for other projects.
