Done the job ok, but took 1.5 hours to complete a 45 minute job! Shockley cost me £300 to have a hob installed with most of the existing pipe work used.
Qualified electrician and part p compliant and time served chippie. With my business partner being qualified plumber ex gas safe also a time served plaster. With over 60 years experience of the building trade between us. Always happy to survey and assess customers needs before quoting to make sure we and our customers are happy with the work to be done.
Job done to a good standard. However, still awaiting certificate. Messaged a few times and they said it was in the post but still nothing received.

Igor and his team did a great job for me in renovating and updating a Grade II Listed townhouse in Clifton. The scope of works included extensive repairs, all new plumbing & electrics, a new staircase, kitchen and bathrooms, and complete re-decoration throughout. Igor was always extremely efficient and helpful, and overall I was happy and satisfied with both the price and the quality of work, although it did take a bit longer than expected to complete.

Apart from causing £350. worth of damage to my roof and electrics so far and ignoring my emails questioning why they didn't tell me. The job was done quickly and virtually to the agreed specification. Would I recommend them? Probably not just for not coming clean about the damage and not communicating. I had a quote from them for a fence which I was going to take up, also a couple of other jobs to quote for but I am now looking elsewhere. I have no confidence they will tell me if something goes wrong.

The Project Manager was also on hand to answer any questions I had and offered me adviced on how best to move forward. We ended up refurbishing our entire bathroom which is looking great now. From coffee tables and chairs to staircases, floors and grand pianos, I have done it all. Colour matching, change of use and change of design. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. I also repair damaged furniture etc, maybe you have a deep scratch or broken furniture that you love that needs repair. (Again just send a photo)
