Great work. Kris explained what he would do clearly and provided a competitive quote for the eork. He was able to start quickly and work days that accommodated my schedule and needs. I love the finished result and he explained how to care for it. Great workmanship - would hire him again.

I'm a sole trader .I've been a self employed sub contractor, carpenter/builder over 30 years . I have a vast amount of knowledge to do with all aspects of carpentry especially Roofing , 1st fix ,2nd fix , fitting kitchens, finals and other building services. Please note...... that as trade ,we actually have to pay anything between £35 to £250 to get your contact details . Depending on the value of your job. I'm looking to offer my services in a timely, reliable and professional fashion . Also find me on Instagram scott_miles_carpentry and my website Scott miles building services. Hope to hear from you soon.
From coffee tables and chairs to staircases, floors and grand pianos, I have done it all. Colour matching, change of use and change of design. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. I also repair damaged furniture etc, maybe you have a deep scratch or broken furniture that you love that needs repair. (Again just send a photo)
