(L.M plastering and building) My name is Laurence Maisey and I have been in the building trade for over 12 years. During this time, I have worked on many projects ( both in the UK and abroad) which include new builds (some large developments) and extensive renovation work on older properties. I have also worked in the social housing industry on a Reactive Response team. My expertise lies in plastering, but I am also a multi-skilled engineer and can turn my hand to almost any building work. I have many references from past employers who will verify the fact that my work is to a very high standard and that I am a clean and tidy worker. I will take on any project no matter how big or small.

Laurence’s workmanship was excellent:. The job was to skim a heavily Artexed ceiling and to feather in at the edges to avoid changing the coving and yet leave a nice edge profile visible on the coving. I waited to post a rating so that I could see the ceiling dry and apply a mist (dilute) coat of paint to the plaster. That reveals any issues. I’m pleased to say the quality is excellent -no problems at all and will be working with Laurence in the future.

Mike contacted me very quickly after posting the advert, and came out the following day to quote. I have just bought a property and needed work doing immediately and even though mike had another job on, he found the time to start on mine. I'm very impressed with the job mike and his team have done, I now have 3 new ceilings and 2 plastered walls, plus some extra work he's done and it means I am now able to move in! I will be asking mike to return to do some other jobs for me, and I would highly recommend :)

I was a site manager for 10yrs now semi retired and doing customer care maintenance. I am knowledgeable in all areas of building works. George Bancroft and his team-mate Jimmy did an excellent job. Installed new gate-posts and re-hung heavy driveway gates. Gates now hang much better and close-up together better than they have for years. George and Jimmy worked hard and with good will, the price was right, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We engaged Simon and his team to remove a supporting wall, thus opening up the kitchen into the dining room. From the start, Simon was knowledgeable and offered helpful insight.
