Great job - replacing mortar on back of house with lime mortar and on gable end. Also sorted out lots of small jobs while scaffolding up - painting fascia, leading on leaky gutter etc.. - which was really helpful.

We had the pointing ground out and redone between the flags in the garden. Was happy overall with the job when it was finished but it took quite a bit longer than quoted. Now 10 months later the pointing is falling out in a few areas, so feeling a little bit disappointed with the job.

I’ve not been a member for five years on this website. I was on it possibly around five years ago. Only rejoined on the 4th of May 2023. Up till lockdown I had 5 1/2 months work in the diary within two days or cancelled. Unfortunately, some of the customers didn’t make it through that period. And before time installing bathrooms never really recovered, hence, I have re-joined this site to do more general plumbing and not concentrate on just bathroom for refurbishments.? Plumber with many years experience from changing taps to full bathroom refurbishment including tiling. Including underfloor heating double glazing installing joinery work and professional installing of PIR insulation. Very poor standard of roofing. The job was rushed, not done properly,and the owner of the business who is an extremely fair person has accepted this fact and subsequently reduced his bill by half. However I have been left with a problem roof which AllStyle have indicated they will deal with any problems that arise in the future free of charge. I would hope they would use different roofers next time to repair the damage the first lot have created for which I have paid.

I am primarily a bricklaying specialist though I am more than happy to do natural stone work as well.
