Originally gave this builder a 1 star rating as he hadn't come back to me after I sent details of the job. It turns out that it was an old email address on RP and the text number given on the RP screen is not actually that of the builder. Have moved to 3 star accordingly. Work was picked up by another builder after I re-advertised it.

Did not provide an Invoice, did the job but left all the rubbish, did not come back after several requests to come pick it up. Did not finish skirting boards. Sam did make bathroom cupboard but at least could have come back to just finish it off and could have been honest.
Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. I have recently joined rated people because I have had enough of the site work and feel its time to slow down and offer my experience to private work. I have done private work in the past and always ensured works were completed on time,at a reasonable rate and took pride in my work. I am a registered company and can be found on company house. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. The bonus was that he thoroughly cleaned up any mess he made which was indeed minimal! Nothing was too much trouble and he was extremely helpful. The work done appears to be all I wanted. Initially I was only going to have Decking done in my garden. After Andrew came and saw my garden he gave me a different idea and provided with me a scatch of paving and deck to transform my garden into some thing different. After he has done this it looks so nice. He transformed my garden completely. He is a very hard working gentleman. Very reasonable with price and very sincere perfect and honest.While he was working I decided to have fencing done as well. Andrew has become like a family member to us.
