Thank you for your response. With regard to budget the category "up to £100" is the lowest limit one can specify on this site, with regard to VAT there was never any suggestion that this should not be paid. My husband accepted and paid your bill at the time it is only subsequently that we have found out from others that this was an excessive amount to be charged for this work. Our mistake was not getting a number of quotes before instructing you to do the work. We will not make this mistake again.

I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. Artur of Max Art was very professional and did an excellent job. Nothing was too much trouble for him, moving furniture, masking etc. even coming back to check his work after the paint had dried. Very clean and tidy with no fuss or mess. He just worked until the job was complete. A really good service. I will definitely use again.
