It was delayed slightly due to late delivery of some of the supplies, but Phil stayed on top of that and kept me informed with updates whenever he got them. Then four weeks out from the agreed start date, said he'd forgotten to include costs for a full roof replacement (hip to gable extension) so it would be almost ÂŁ30,000 more than the original price. We could not move forward, and ÂŁ2,500 of our deposit was not returned to us as steels had already been purchased and cut (but he refused to connect us with the supplier so we could retain these for use in our project).

Kris was contracted to renovate my 4 bed home: chimney breast removal, structural engineering work to open up the living area and open plan kitchen, replastering walls including tearing down dated artex ceiling. Even out the floor of an old home with uneven planes and complete tiling and wood flooring, completely renovated two bathrooms and installing a utility room and a boiler, including a lot of plumbing work!
