Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.

Not only was Constantin really lovely and a great communicator, he did a fantastic job tiling our kitchen. I recruited him from this website and I didn't know what to expect. Matt a really nice guy from Multi Trades turned up to assess and quote for the repair and re-tiling of our leaking shower. He gave me a very reasonable quote which I accepted, told me when he could start and duly did. All through the job he was efficient, courteous, clean and tidy. He finished the job to our complete satisfaction on time and on budget. There are more jobs we need doing round the house so I will definitely be calling on Matt again. I'm absolutely thrilled with the custom TV and bookshelf unit that Igor and his tea built for me. The craftsmanship is top-notch — everything is solid, well-aligned, and beautifully finished. David has done two jobs for me, the first job was at an acceptable standard Tilling a kitchen, there were a few mistakes but all in all acceptable. but the second job was installation of wooden floor, several mistakes were made and to add to the poor job David did not finish the job because he left on holiday. The result I lost a client and the client had to hire someone else law to remove the floor and place a new one.
