Lovely guy, very polite and helpful. Fixed my son's light fitting which had stopped working and then had a quick look at the doorbell when I asked him, also easily fixed. Highly recommended.

Wired up the boiler thermostat wrong resulting in blowing the motherboard and costing me in excess of £250

I don’t normally into conflict situations but would like to point out the following. Prior to starting I switched the boiler off at the plug socket and removed the plug. The client supplied the new thermostat and it was already partially installed. The old thermostat had 3 wires into it, numbered by whoever installed it years ago 1 , 2 & 3 & connected them. The boiler would not then turn on. The client makes no mention of the 3 light switches which she required fixed although the job said replace 1.

This still doesn’t explain that two of the three wires that you installed were touching causing damage to the boiler motherboard

When the boiler engineer found the fault he said you should pay for the repair. There has been no mention from you to offer this
