Shower tray fitting

I’m installing a shower tray then having the walls tilied with 10mm tiles, Do I need to leave an equal gap between the shower tray edges and the plaster board wall to allow for the thickness of the tiles for fitting an enclosure or should I fit it right to the wall? Thanks

Hi gavin fit the shower tray tight to the wall apply a water proof silicone between the tray and the wall then tile over the top of this Hope this helps
