Have tried to fit shelving into hot water tank cupboard. Have been able to secure wood to one side of cupboard but the outside wall has material behind it that won't take to the screws. Unsure what this is as detector not picking up metal/electrics. Looking for someone more experienced who can fit shelving for me and/or provide an answer?!

Concrete floor had underlay and carpet on for 16 yrs. just had an extension built new concrete looks ace, old concrete seems to have beads of moisture on. Is this just warm air hitting cold concrete? Would a sealer of some sort help here? Cheers

Can anyone tell me what size units I need, especially for a corner unit. Iv looked & I cant see anything higher than 180 which is ok, but they normally with a 45 or 60cm depth which is too wide, I have to be able to get into the cupboard, I’m not a big woman but I need some space lol. I’d love 160cm in length but I can’t see any of them. So I was thinking of getting 2 180x80x30 & 2 150x70x30. Does that sound ok? Or does anyone have any better ideas. Hi there, I am hoping you can do me a quick favour and give me some advice on the below. We have just moved into a new home we bought: I just want to make sure I have put the washing machine waste pipe in the correct place. This is urgent as we need to wash clothes soon. I have attached pictures. 2. We currently have no hot water in the shower and we think this is due to the boiler pressure currently being at 0. This is usually easily sorted out by turning some valves etc. but we cant seem to figure it out/there may be a valve hinge/tap bit broken so you need tools to sort it. This is very urgent. I have attached pictures. If we can help me get it sorted I will be sure to return the favour in the form of an excellent review and/or a small cash payment. Best, Sebastian

How is the best way I can check to see if a wall is a supporting wall

Hello, my toilet waste pipe outside does not vent. It’s a closed system and gasses are coming into the house. We have a loft extension and the waste pipe needs extending from outlet from loft bathroom to above roof line. Work should be possible with ladder and from flat roof. Waste pipe on wall in side alleyway between houses. Would be grateful to know which category this falls into and have no idea of cost. Thanks for help, all best Simon
