Bubbling toilet, flooding shower and stress.

Posted by Liza Acquah, on
I have three bathrooms in my house, two are on the second floor and one is on the ground floor. Two on the second floor contain a bath, whereas the one on the ground floor contains a shower. The ground floors shower was installed recently, however there were and have been no issues with that. About a month ago, some work was done on one of the bathrooms on the 2nd floor. The bath, sink and toilet were all replaced. The work was started by one plumber who half way through the job left. The work was picked up by a second plumber who finished the job fine. There were no issues until after the work was completed entirely. If you use the bath and showers, when the water is draining, the toilet begins to bubble, the water in the bath stops going down, and when you go downstairs, the water has come out of the ground floor shower drain, flooding the ground floor. When this initially happened about a week and a half ago, another plumber was contacted who came to have a look, said he couldn't see anything and that it was likely a block, he used a device and unblocked it and everything was fine, till now. The problem has returned. I would like to think its not just as simple as the drains being blocked, but rather during these works that were done, something has gone wrong that needs fixing. We never had any issue with blocked drains until now, even if that is the issue. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated just so I might know what the issue could be, rather than going around in circles.
