Increasing amperage to kitchen sockets

Posted by Owen , on
How difficult/expensive is it to increase amperage from 32 to 45 from fuse box to kitchen assuming wire gauge is currently insufficient in order to install a cooker requiring 45amp minimum?

To install a new cooker you need to know the exact wattage of the new cooker and depending of the size you would need to upgrade it from a 6mm to a 10mm twin and earth cable but it depends on the location of the consumer unit in relation to the cooker point and if floor boards upstairs or an attic space roughly between 150 to 200 to replace and hook up
