Day rate for a boiler installers labourer.

Posted by HazzyB , on
I'm an admin support worker for a central heating company in the Midlands and one of our engineers needs a labourer for a day on Monday, the company have said the engineer will pay me directly for Monday, and he's said he'll discuss the pay when it comes to paying me. So I was wondering how much should I be asking for. I'm only there to help with the heavy lifting not to do any of the actual work.

HazzyB. It’s intirely up to the Engineer who is employing you. Two things that need to be considered is whether you have experience with this type of work or not. If this is the latter and you are helping with basic general tasks, ie, lifting tools and manual handling, expect to receive basic minimum hourly wage. J Ireland Plumber
