As Jim said, but if the socket is on an exterior wall you may have the option of running cabling outside - which is a lot easier and takes less time, channeling out a wall is much more of a job and will cost considerably more

Hi Darren, it will depend a lot on whether you’re happy for the cable to be visible or not. If you’re happy for the cable to be clipped to the skirting board or perhaps hidden under carpet then (unless you have a really, really big room) then probably less than £100. If you want the wires hidden completely then it’s difficult to say without seeing the job. Hope that helps, Jim
