I have a small leak in a pipe in the Kitchen spraying water..I have a bowl catching the excess water.Will the Water shut off tap shut off all the water in house

if you mean the mains stopcock yes it will, though if you have a cold water storage tank feeding the bathroom that will run until empty

Hi there It you close the main valve to the house it should stop the water, if not open the cold tap and allow to run, this takes the pressure of the leak Iain
