Bottle trap venting issue

I have the above installed, removed as the sink was blocked. Cleaned it out and put back. However the sink only drains if I unscrew the cleaning eye cap but I'm worried it will overflow if I do this. Do I need a new trap?

You need need to remove the sink trap and replace it with a anti vac trap.
