Previously a Production Engineer, but decided to change to a job that was more hands on with a good social connection. I chose building work – so I have a good balance of technical skills and practical skills gained over many year of working on Builds. My first two builds were complete builds from the ground up, so I had to seek out and get trades on-site to complete work I didn’t have the skills for. Over time I have carried out all sorts of work over the past few years from Setting out a site, Groundworks, Blockwork, Construction, Timber work/studding, Plaster boarding, Fitting kitchens and Bathroom, as well as Wooden Flooring and Tiling, and of course decorating. I leave plumbing, electrical work and plastering to the trades ( and have good contacts ) – but I have a good eye for detail but enjoy fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, skirting, and painting.
Interesting pattern with any review highlighting issues with Sheridan�s work. It�s always the customer that�s wrong. The subtext in his response, Sheridan openly accepts he didn�t complete the work but that�s okay because in his view it wasn�t essential. So if you want an amateur that quotes for and accepts a job, can�t stick to deadlines or manage the trades he uses to deliver to the estimated amount and after all of that decides what is and isn�t important, Shez is your man!! Otherwise avoid.

The other was similar on price, the other 7 or 8 either didn't provide prices, didn't bring a tape measure or simply didn't follow up when they said that they would. Josh was reliable, arrived on time, when he said he would & from the first day to the last did everything that he said he would. A small company, Josh had 3 other people working with him. Had great initial quote and got the job fitted in quite quickly, job taking longer than expected due to unforeseen issues, job is still incomplete and I am to say the least very unsatisfied with the quality of the work. May now have to get someone in get quote to rectify and finish the job.
