Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. If I could select no stars that still would be far too many for this bodge artist! Comes across as a really nice and knowledgeable bloke, but made a proper mess of my small bespoke cupboard. Took me over £200 to put right a cupboard that he charged me £580 for. Do not hire this man, you will definitely regret it!!

I hope the tradesman is well but I cannot provide any recommendation. The one start rating is the lowest I can select - it should be a zero star rating.

My job for Stefan was fitting 4m? of LVT flooring in my loft en-suite shower room. Wall edges were straight but the flooring needed to fit around a 900mm quadrant shower tray. The fit of the flooring around all edges, not just the shower tray, falls short of satisfactory but he advised me to buy sealant and finish the job myself. I have contacted another flooring contractor to see if he can salvage the job and make it more acceptable to a reasonable standard. Overall I am very disappointed with his work.

I’ve had to change this rating due to rating too prematurely initially. After fitting our laminate flooring, we have had nothing but issues with slats coming up, nails too long out of the skirting and the door trim not being secure. Although both came out once and glued the LVT down in places we are finding more come up. My husband is now going to have to glue them all down after paying over 1k for supply and fit or alternatively have it taken out and redone.
