They turned up without any materials and we had difficulty getting any. The fence has been put up in a bad way with short posts, and screws dangerously protruding through to next door. My old patio was not taken up as quoted, and new slabs were laid over the top. It is not level and slopes forward & sideways with a bump in the middle. Slabs are uneven, the built step has all broken away, as there is little support under it. And the grouting has gaps and different grouts used. Too many other probs to list.
I am based out of Gloucester, but willing to travel to surrounding cities. I am extremely confident in my skill set. When it comes this trade, nothing beats the experience I have.
Glyn came round very quickly and did a cracking job in my soffit this was very rotten and degraded. Punctual and completed the job as described would recommend

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

Had another that was q touch cheaper however, from the conversation I had, believed that the job would be of a better quality through D&S and was glad with my decision. As I'm limited to 512 characters for this review, I'm unable to list the reasons why a one star rating is too generous for D & L contractors. In short, the work carried out by them was so poor and unprofessional, I asked them to leave the job and resolved the issues via small claims action. I have since found that they left my property unsafe by allowing steel beams to be supported without padstones below and these were also braced underneath using broken angle grinder blades instead of slate!
