George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Had a very positive with Mark and the Unique Lofts team for our loft conversion. I would highly recommend them. Michael and Brad (our team) were friendly, dedicated and hardworking. Our neighbours, who had the skip chute cross their garden, also shared how considerate and friendly they were. Michael kept me in the loop, followed up on my enquiries and gave some really helpful advice in moving airing cupboards and opening up the loft space for more natural light. Mixed experience. I've never had anyone work on my house who shows such a lack of respect for my property. Despite being asked 3 times to be careful and to cover plants, etc, our garden was trampled and rubbish, including nails, scattered everywhere. We had to spend several hours clearing up after they had finished. This attitude showed up in the work too, some of which needed redoing. End result is OK; I still think it could have been neater

With regard to budget the category "up to £100" is the lowest limit one can specify on this site, with regard to VAT there was never any suggestion that this should not be paid. My husband accepted and paid your bill at the time it is only subsequently that we have found out from others that this was an excessive amount to be charged for this work. Our mistake was not getting a number of quotes before instructing you to do the work. We will not make this mistake again.
