George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Liam came to sort my leaking roof on 1/11/19. Claimed there was more loose tiles on roof and charged me extra to put all of them in place- no pictures provided to prove this, like what other roofers do. Didn’t give me a receipt and promised to email this together with a 5 year guarantee he promised me for paying xtra. He ignored my texts and has now blocked my number. I’d never use him again and not I’m not even sure he even fixed the leak. Unprofessional, disgusting and don’t recommend. Wasted my £200.

Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

Moss Rid were great and very cheap. Arrived on time to do repair works to the roof that were not straight forward and in a difficult position. They even brought spare tiles with them in case mine could not be rescued. Executed repair work very quickly and efficiently. Roof is now watertight again. Did a poor job. Begged to be paid and promised to return to fix issues. He never did and ignores messages. Felt not sealed properly, bubbled out and on the front where visible. Knocked 2 bricks completely loose and just left them like that. Didn't mention them. Regret taking a punt on him. Silly of me to pay the full amount. You live and learn.
