After initial assessment I was told it was a two man job who duly arrived in a couple of days with a jetting machine to clear the limescale. They worked very hard to jet the blockage one in the bathroom one outside at the manhole with the jetter. When they were satisfied the soilpipe was clear they inserted a camera so we could all see the there was now no obstruction. They were pleasant and informed me what was happening all the time, I would recommend them to others.

STUPID when I texted him to say I will report him to RatedPeople and the authorities. More slabs broke 2 days ago. Sent him the picture. He simply texted back: MOVED TO DEVON NO LONGER WORKING. Blocked toilet - he agreed to come in the earlier part of the morning, then it kept slipping back - until it was the next day. No confidence that he'd turn up then. Only one toilet so it was urgent so I found someone else. May be a good plumber, no idea, but postponing an urgent job after agreeing to do it means I won't offer work again.
