Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

Zero, if possible. Not sure if it’s truthful. I took 3 days off work - didn’t turn up on any day. Claimed death in family on third day so maybe unfair. Still; car broken on one day, need to go to doctors on third, then death on fourth. I’m 3 days out of pocket now! Told me all jobs on hold, who knows maybe my review will help someone.

Due to this role I have developed great experience in making strong fixings, things like shelves, curtain rails and televisions are straight forward now! Im now 31 years old, and hoping to buy a new house with my partner this year, so hope to use this platform to get some evening work to strengthen our deposit! I have put my primary trade as handyman, as although I am an electrician I have been in the trade for a number of years and can turn a hand to most domestic site work. I was happy and paid as this plumber said he was coming back to fit some caps later in the week. Since, I have noticed the tap has been plumbed incorrectly hot to cold and vice versa, he did not return with the caps. I think he was just lying that what he wanted to fit was better because he forgot to put them on when fitting the shower and my sink isn’t attached to the wall securely. I have given him a couple of months now to put it right but he ignores my calls and texts.

Kevin came round after hours and measured up. Two days later he was here fitting 2 new poles and 2 new shelves took him just over an hour. He even gave a hint to keep my doors in motion rather than adding more costs to something that didnt need doing.

Simply brilliant. Dan didn't just show up on time, he showed up early (and early in the day as well) so we could get on with the rest of our morning. He brought the parts just based on the picture which speaks to experience and even when he needed to swap a part, was able to do it as soon as a nearby shop opened. His work was very tidy (I've had a couple of people sort out the same problem before) and he was clearly knew what he was doing. Very, very pleased.
