Hello, My name is Mark, the past 10mths I have been working for a facilities maintenance company in Ireland and Northern Ireland. I am a licensed plumber and prior moving from Australia to Ireland, I ran my own plumbing business, I worked for a couple of plumbing company and I spent 20yrs in the Royal Australian Navy. I've spent 35 years working as a plumber in the A.C.T, Sydney and in the Navy. Whilst in the navy, apart from plumbing, I worked on the ships propulsion, diesel generation and water purification systems. Other tasks including welding, fitting, electrical fault finding and mechanical repairs. I have plumbing experience, working for one of Sydney’s leading commercial plumbing maintenance company and other company within Newcastle (Aust). I have applied my trade and technical skills to complete many tasks outside my trade. Initially felt Mervyn was great - quick to respond, worked quick, tidy and very personable. Unfortunately quickly after works were paid & completed we encountered problems with a toilet he installed and unfortunately it seems he does not stand by his work. Looking back at other reviews I can see this is a trend as he fails to respond . Disappointing as we had been highly recommending him and was considering him for other jobs but now have to pay another tradesman to fix his work.

Bronte Brushstrokes over 30 years experience all painting and decorating jobs carried out all work is left to a very high standard we also teamed up with my son's called Mr fix it all types of house repairs roofing gardens pvc cleaning powerwashing slabbing patios if it's broken we will fix it every time
Emptied gutters and treated windows which were letting in water and causing mould to come through wall. Wall had been professionally decorated the year before. Painted over it with damp proof paint and then only did one coat and not a good job of repainting wall. Said would come back to do second coat but stopped answering phone or replying to messages. Took my paint “by accident” but did not return it. Paid £600 but mould still coming through wall. Have since been told they should have re-plastered wall.
