After serving time in the armed forces, I decided to join the construction industry . Since 2008 I have gained a lot of knowledge and skills in different trades . My work is always to a high standard as I am a perfectionist and believe all work should be done to the standard you would expect in your own home. I am punctual, polite, hardworking, reliable and trust worthy. I am capable of managing difficult situations, should they arise, in a confident manor. Alex and his team have recently refurbished our house which was in desperate need of a refresh.He and his team are very hard working, hardly taking any breaks,working through from 8.30am to sometimes past 6pm.The whole project was originally meant to take 2 to 3 months but was completed in a little over 6 weeks.As a result of his efforts and those of his subcontractors we've now a house we will be comfortable in for years to come

As I'm limited to 512 characters for this review, I'm unable to list the reasons why a one star rating is too generous for D & L contractors. In short, the work carried out by them was so poor and unprofessional, I asked them to leave the job and resolved the issues via small claims action. I have since found that they left my property unsafe by allowing steel beams to be supported without padstones below and these were also braced underneath using broken angle grinder blades instead of slate!
