Disgusted with most of the proceedings! It started with a single tile that had slipped down at the ridge, the remedy was a new batten to be fitted for all of this level of tiles, they said. A boxed ridge seal was fitted the price stayed the same., exorbitant! The roof porch needed tile alignment on one side, this was done in a very short time as was the first job. They asked me if I wanted my front wall pointing after what they told me they would do,I agreed. Mortar was scarce and the old was not removed.

Chris did a good job at first, he was professional and left the job clean and tidy. However, once the tap came loose a few months later, he ignored my messages. It appears there is no guarantee with his work.

Ian at MH Landscapes offered a very competitive quote for a garden landscaping job. Not the cheapest quote I received, but felt he understood best the work required & would finish the job to the highest standard. 100% the right decision. The paving itself looks superb, the cleanup and general level of care was good and the attention to detail fantastic. The whole job only took 2 days. Completely hassle free- highly recommended A*****

Sash Window solutions, headed by Andrew, made the whole process stress free . The timing of the fitting was negotiable and everything was made clear. Questions were answered and concerns addressed The work was done in one day, carpets and furniture protected and everything cleared up neatly afterwards. And the windows look lovely. I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.
