I've had over 10 years experience. Jobs I undertake are general handyman job like electrical, plumbing, central heating, power flushing central heating, painting decorating,kitchen and bathroom refit, fencing and groundworks. You can really do just about anything! How I normally charge is call out charge of £100 this covers the first hour then £50 an hour thereafter plus materials/ parking. Some services are charged at a different rate for example: emergency call out and weekend rate is normally higher rate. • power flush to central heating system charge is £450 including all chemicals and inhibitor to the system this covers six radiators any more than 6 radiators there is an extra charge at £100 per radiator extra .

A good experience. Re covered our conservatory ridge with lead flashing to stop an annoying leak. . Visited and quoted on the day posted and then came back to mend our roof 3 days late. Stephen and his colleague came to visit me this morning after a short call yesterday after they had seen my job posted. They were 10 minutes early, and despite offering the restaurants they just wanted to get straight onto the job which was fine by me. Fitted the flashing but never added pointing to close the gap left on the edge of the roof so I now have an open hole in my roof about 300mm x 100mm perfect for animals or weather into get under the flashing and into the room below. Promised to come back and fix it but never returned and always had an excuse so I gave up trying. I had to get another roofer in to fill the gap and when he inspected the work carried out and I told him the price i paid he laughed and told me I’ve been “robbed” Avoid!!

Alltype Building responded swiftly to my original request to fix some guttering. They provided a reasonable quote and started straight away. It became apparent that the whole of the guttering really needed changing and after a re-quote this was completed to a high standard. During this job the ridge tiles to the main house were discovered to be dangerously loose in many places and they were able to mobilise a team straight away to fix them, again to a high standard. Would thoroughly recommend.

Incompetent!! Charged £400 to replace 2 roof tiles, mastic to 3 roof caps and adjust gutter that was leaking in two places. Required constant monitoring to check his progress. Jamie then had the audacity to suggest a further charge of £150 to add mastic to 3 additional caps !! He couldn’t comprehend that his pricing made no sense! Sadly, the gutter is still leaking and despite his promises to return to complete the work he’s failed to show 3 times. Don’t waste your time or money - get a professional!

Very rude person. Unreliable. Came and saw my roof three times. Still leaking. He only will come back if you give him an incentive (my incentive was I had other family members close by wanting repairs) otherwise he will make excuses and say leave it with me and give no indication when he will come after asking several times. He has checked my roof three times and claims he is an expert but has failed to identify the issue. He will just do a shoddy job to just get onto his next job. Will not recommend.
