The price eventually quoted was deemed fair for the job. Given the age of the original post and therefore the weathered state of the brickwork, the finished repair looks great, the quality of the bricklaying and match of the bricks is just fine. James and his team did a fantastic job. He turned up on time to quote for the task of replacing our 4.5 x 4.5m concrete hardstanding with brick papers. We agreed a price for the job and a start date. He and his team turned up when agreed. On the first day they removed the original concrete slab, and did the necessary work to prepare the ground. Day 2 the pavers were laid. BE WARNED! OK plasterer, APPALLING BUILDER. Put rubber roof on when wet, so now roof is blistering/bubbling. Tried to use piece of aluminum and wood to hold up roof--told by builder inspector he needed lintel. Lied to us, ignored inspector & tried to carry on using aluminum. Tired to get us to pay for insulation included in the quote. Got angry when we asked him not to smoke in our house. Three weeks after said work would be done (and with no changes to original job), walked off job without work completed.

Fence and post all broken within 6 months of installation. The concrete post was not the correct length for the fence and ground was not dug deep enough upon inspection. Very disappointed and offered no resolution whatsoever, rather has the cheek to pay more to fix. Would not recommend go for an actual professional who knows what they're doing.
