Hi my name is John Wishart, I have been restoring period woodwork for over 20 years. My work includes floor sanding, French polishing and period timber restoration.
I'm more than delighted with the job John did for me on my floor. I wanted it sanded and whitewashed and I had an exact idea of how I wanted it to look. John managed to achieve that exact look. On top of doing a great job he's just an honest, pleasant and hard working person to have do it. I'd definitely recommend.

Graham fixed my outdoor Christmas lights, but we didn’t test them before he left. I specifically requested roof gutter lights, which required a tall ladder. Later, the gutter lights didn’t work. After paying a significant amount, I politely asked Graham to return. His shocking response was that he couldn’t come until Tuesday, there’d be an extra charge, and suggested I ask a neighbor or window cleaner. His lack of empathy and care was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend him due to his indifferent attitude.
