George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

I am a self employed Carpenter and Joiner and specialise in fitting kitchens, bespoke/built-in furniture and storage solutions and laying wooden flooring. As a team we fit Bathrooms, Large Kitchens, and undertake Full House Renovations. Although I am a relatively young carpenter, I am not inexperienced and have been doing this sort of work for over 8 years, and definitely feel I have something to prove when it comes to my trade knowledge and quality of workmanship. Fatjon / Tony and team did a fantastic job decorating my house, getting rid of damp and giving my front garden a completely new look. They re built wonky walls, rendered them and laid some amazing tiles giving an original Victorian look. Communication was excellent and there were no surprise / hidden costs at the end.
