I am a tradesman with 20+ years of experience in a broad range of construction skills. My carpentry skills include boat work, decks, commercial shopfitting, residential refurbishments and custom jobs. My plumbing skills extend from first fix through to full bathroom/kitchen remodels as well as CCTV drain inspections and repair. Marius was outstanding in every respect. We recently bought a house that had engineered oak wood flooring that has been stained in a dark tone. Marius sanded back the floor to the original oak finish across the whole of the downstairs. It completely transformed the floor, was meticulously sanded and beautifully finished. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. Hired Ian to Build a single story extension and install new kitchen and downstairs shower room . Crew were very pleasant and very helpful in planning the the job ahead of them. Very pleased with the work carried out looks amazing Having to put up with an awkward neighbor didn't deter them from doing and completing the job. The price put in was very reasonable. When the work was ongoing the area was always left clean and as tidy as possible . I would recommend Ian 100% , and would use him again.

James did a really good job for the house we’d just bought. The floors were all painted and really ugly, and he sanded them back to the wood and left them looking really nice. He even returned free of charge to fix a problem of “grain raising” which had left the boards a bit rough to the touch and occurred a few days after he’d finished, due to moisture in the space. He was friendly, considerate and empathic, a really pleasant guy to have around and to be involved in our renovation project.
