Within half an hour he had put a nail through our mains water pipe which created a massive leak into our kitchen below. He was not really very apologetic about this. Once I had made him fix the pipe, he continued to "fix" the floorboards and lay the hardboard. The work was completed, but we are not very happy with the results. The hardboard has not been cut straight and does not sit flush to the skirting boards, the staples he used to fix the hardboard are coming out - would not recommend to anyone else.
