Electrician

Tom and his team did a professional job rewiring 3 rooms in our house. Ervis, Mario and Larry did the job over 3 days, were respectful, explained what they were doing and worked around our two dogs with no fuss. They tidied at the end of each day, removed rubbish at the end of the job and the installation was carried out exactly as requested. They even gave advice on next stepsand renewed some old wiring to the light fittings. I'd definitely recommend Tom and his team, the price was very reasonable as well.

I would like new led lights fitted in kitchen but got no earth wire as house built in 1964. Is there a way around this and would it be expensive?

Hello, If your lighting circuit doesn't have a provision for earthing you can still install new lights but they have to be marked as class II. Hope it helps. Regards Tom

Zinzi Wilkinson's question

Electricians have commented before that this toilet is a "death trap" due to the wiring and it being so close to the plumbing work that we have been made the toilet out of bounds for the family. Is it possible to move the wiring? Perhaps create a wall in the toilet and move the fuse box, wiring and meter to under the stairs if we create a cupboad? How can we make it safe and aesthetically pleasing too. I've looked online and apparently we need a specifically qualified electrician?

Hello, Bathroom is a special location so any work done in particular area need to be done by qualified electrician unless it is just a toilet (everything depends on particular circumstances). The best is to seek advice of one of the qualified electrician who is registered in one of the part P certification schemes NIEIC, ELECSA or NAPIT. Hope it helps. Regards Tom
