Loft hatch widening

Hi there, I need to get an idea of how much a loft hatch would cost to widen as the current loft hatch is too small and some work needs doing in the loft. Would I need a chippie for this? or could a builder do it?

Hi Amy. You don't need a builder. A decent joiner ( chippie ) will have this done in a few hours. Hope this helps. Stephen
