I have given an average rating for quality because to be fair I do not know the standard of his work. I had to chase a few times to get the initial quote in which when received was significantly over budget. There were a number of different minor tasks within the overall job and so asked for a breakdown of the quote by individual task so that I could assess and prioritise which I should and could afford to have carried out. I never received the breakdown of costs and the job therefore never started.

Tradesman came out to give a quote. Was advised I would be contacted by a painter about the staircase, I never heard from him. Contacted tradesman again, arranged a time in advance to complete job quoted for. Tradesman didn't come back to confirm, job not done.

35 years experience in carpentry/joinery. I served my time in a workshop making windows, doors, stairs and kitchens. I then went self employed for 25 yrs which I had my own carpentry workshop specialising in all of the above. I took some time out and worked in Sydney Australia for 7 years making kitchens and doing shop fit outs. I have a great attention to detail and take pride in my work.
