Previously a Production Engineer, but decided to change to a job that was more hands on with a good social connection. I chose building work – so I have a good balance of technical skills and practical skills gained over many year of working on Builds. My first two builds were complete builds from the ground up, so I had to seek out and get trades on-site to complete work I didn’t have the skills for. Over time I have carried out all sorts of work over the past few years from Setting out a site, Groundworks, Blockwork, Construction, Timber work/studding, Plaster boarding, Fitting kitchens and Bathroom, as well as Wooden Flooring and Tiling, and of course decorating. I leave plumbing, electrical work and plastering to the trades ( and have good contacts ) – but I have a good eye for detail but enjoy fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, skirting, and painting.
Interesting pattern with any review highlighting issues with Sheridan�s work. It�s always the customer that�s wrong. The subtext in his response, Sheridan openly accepts he didn�t complete the work but that�s okay because in his view it wasn�t essential. So if you want an amateur that quotes for and accepts a job, can�t stick to deadlines or manage the trades he uses to deliver to the estimated amount and after all of that decides what is and isn�t important, Shez is your man!! Otherwise avoid.

We had a few specific requirements (such as fitting a vinyl player on the space above the cupboard!) and he listened to what we wanted and built it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I can't recommend Tom. Previously TH&Jones Ltd he has changed the company name. He has left us with an extension that doesn't meet building regulations and needs to be taken down. Our house unsalable. I have an independent report to support it. Insufficient foundation, no damp course, insufficient insulation, incorrect installation of roof. He said he would rectify if we paid for 'things unquoted' but failed to show exactly what. We haven't heard from him in months. Stay away!!

Igor and his team did a great job for me in renovating and updating a Grade II Listed townhouse in Clifton. The scope of works included extensive repairs, all new plumbing & electrics, a new staircase, kitchen and bathrooms, and complete re-decoration throughout. Igor was always extremely efficient and helpful, and overall I was happy and satisfied with both the price and the quality of work, although it did take a bit longer than expected to complete.
